A two-day workshop on current state of university research in Bahrain was held at the Applied Science University (ASU), East Eker. Higher Education Council general secretary professor Rihad Hamzah was keynote speaker. Arab Universities Association secretary general professor Sultan Abu Orabi, Cardiff Metropolitan University partnerships head Lloyd Poewll and ASU trustees' board chairman professor Waheeb Al Khaja were among those who attended.
